Thank you to all Players who attended Event Horizon Session #46. Alpha Halo B is a Small to Medium Sized Map consisting of an Island having a high centre ground surrounded by a Beach with a Tunnel running through the middle. The High Centre ground is not accessible, but the Tunnel makes all areas of the Beach easier and quicker to reach. Alpha Halo B is suitable for 2 Players upwards, but Game Play is extremely limited due to only the Slayer, (and Variants) Game Type supported. Most Players can't Spawn if CTF is attempted, and KOTH is a joke since there's just One enormous Hill which practically spans the whole island with half of it up in the air. Although initially Alpha Halo B looks very nice with excellent textures, (and at first seems good) in fact there are no Vehicles and no Custom Weapons, so again Game Play is reduced. Despite having less than 10 Players for the majority of the Event it was an enjoyable enough Session. Personally I quite liked FFA Sniper Slayer best, but Alpha Halo B is not acceptable for inclusion in a Map Cycle, and I would not rush to play this Map again. |
